Join us Saturday, June 28th from 6am to 4pm to raise money for those Iowans affected by the flooding on June 12th and 13th in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

From 6am to noon we will be serving egg, bacon, sauasge, home fries and pancakes. Beginning at noon we will serve 120 of our breaded tenderlions and our maiden rite sandwiches plus coffee, ice tea and water. The cost is $5.00 Per person. All the $$ will go back to Iowa to help families in need from the flood . Our full day of sales will go back.

Cash or check donations are also welcome.

On June 11th the Cedar River began to spill over the river banks as many homes and businesses were evactuated. By June 12th the river had gotten so high many homes were already underwater. When the river crested the morning of Friday, June 13th it was at 31.12 feet; almost 20 feet over the flood level of 12 feet. The river had covered much of the city leaving homes, automobiles and businesses devastated in it's path. It's the worst flooding Cedar Rapids has ever seen.

Now that the waters have receded back in to the Cedar River, citizens and business owners are able to go back to assess the damage. Some people have lost everything; their home and all of their possessions. Many people and business will need to start over from scratch.
